The Victory Forest is a haven for a diverse range of recreational activities. Moose and bird hunters enjoy hunting the solitude and adventure of hunting in this relatively wild and peaceful setting, with breathtaking views of Mt. Washington. Similarly, hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and cross country skiers can use the forest’s multitude of existing logging trails and single-track trails for exercise, wildlife viewing, or adventure. The Northeastern corner of the property connects to a state trail which leads skiers and off-road cyclists into a network of trails maintained by the Kingdom Trails Association.

  • We are rehabilitating old trails and creating a trail network to link with the nationally recognized Kingdom Trails Association.
  • In partnership with Burke Mountain and  and Vermont Forests, Parks, and Recreation,  Conservation Collaboratives and Kingdom Trails organized “The CircumBurke”, a mountain bike challenge event circumnavigating Burke Mountain.  This circuit began at Burke Mountain and used state forest trails to travel through Victory and Conservation Collaboratives’ forest to the east side of Umpire Mountain, before returning to Burke Mountain via a state recreational trail.
